Chore Coats

Practical cotton chore coats with roomy shapes and four useful patch pockets. Choose golden-tan canvas with a corduroy collar or natural off-white twill with raglan sleeves, each with its own texture and fit.

Choosing a chore coat

Both coats have a boxy body and room for everyday layers. The differences are in the cloth, colour and shoulders.

  • Maden Canvas Chore Coat: dense golden-tan canvas, a brown corduroy collar and dropped shoulders. Corduroy cuff tabs have two button positions.
  • Maden Natural Cotton Chore Coat: undyed off-white twill with visible cottonseed flecks. Raglan sleeves give the shoulders room to move.

Think about your layers and sleeve proportions. The canvas coat’s dropped shoulders go with shorter sleeves, so its shoulder and sleeve figures need to be read together. The natural coat uses a different raglan sleeve measurement. Each product’s size guide explains its dimensions.

Check the label mapping for the coat you choose. S (US) in the canvas coat has L on the sewn label; S (US) in the natural coat has S. Do not apply one coat’s label adjustment to the other.
